Happy new year!!!!

Are we relieved that the year is over, that the decade is over?Should we look back and say 'oh what a horrible year this has been'? Well, its over and there is absolutely nothing you or anyone else can do about it. But if given the chance, would you want to change anything you have done (or not done) in the last decade? it's your life anyway but its our world, our universe. it has not been the most pleasant year 2009 but it has come with its own lessons and i think a lot has been learned. Economic crisis, political crisis, academic crisis, well we have had quite a number of crisis this year but we have had and still have HOPE... things can only get better and that is not being optimistic, it is being realistic. Get on the and wagon, its A NEW YEAR, a clean slate, a new beginning.... its a new day, it is the right time to start, it is the best time to start, let us learn from the year ending and work towards a better year. Remember, there is only one way to go now...UP! Have a good and purposeful year.

is it or isn't it?

Now, its christmas and a lot of christmas messages are in the air, some are funny- near hilarious, others are serious with a lot of messages, still others emotional and bring tears to the eyes of the reader.... honestly who reads an sms sent during christmas? most people just rread the names of sender and store the message just to know who and who remembers you during the festive season. I remember a message i received during the Easter season and i don't remember the word "easter" being abbreviated to "e". Why then do people find it easier to abbreviate christmas to "x".... just a thought

the people you care about....

what do you tell someone you care about when you find out that the person is not just in physical pain but also emotional pain... not only is it painful but it has been lingering even before u met them... well telling them its going to be alright may just sound patronising and i guarantee u dont want to be seen as patronizing looking at the magnitude of the pain the person is going through. the truth may seem harsh but the mode of delivery of such a heavy news might just suffice... this does not call for diplomacy of any sorts but honesty to oneself and indeed translating this message in as subtle a manner to give ,not hope this time but joy and happiness.... that is the only message that can keep the flame of hope alive even un the most depressed persons... its going to be tough but keep in mind these key words.... the truth, happiness the flame of hope

challenges.... they are the major reason for so many conflicts in this world... Alex the great... Julius Ceaser... Adolf Hitler just to mention a few. but a friend of mine asked, after the victory what next. A lot of people pay no heed to what is to be done as they are so engrossed in the victory at hand. life goes on and more challenges come up but the annoying thing about this is that opportunities and victories are not best utilized when in abundance and seldom fall to those who "may" appreciate it more. whats left to say....

looking forward

so many things to be done in so little a time is the most convenient excuse but any excuse is better than none. reason is what a lot of people want... they want to understand things, they want to master their environment... one big question i should not ask is.... to what end are all these things facing... is the future as bright as we want to believe.... going forward may seem difficult when the present is comfortable but looking forward long enough might just do the trick. like the saying goes... LOOK before u leap

lets see,... this is all new to me, i actually need someone to put me through but hopefully in the nearest future i'd get the hang of this and make the most of this opportunity but in the mean time lets see, inspiration just has to keep on flowing else this would just become monotonous ... hope to enjoy this as much as i expect....
